GUNKON Construction was founded in 1987 under the name GUNBAR Construction Ltd. as a partnership and operated on the market until 1999. In 1999, the main shareholder Mehmet Şefik Güngör founded the company GUNKON Construction.
The main activity of the company was the construction of factories from scratch for foreign investors and large Turkish industrialists. In addition to the construction of factories, schools, villas, and multi-story residential buildings were built.
