Wood’Art – La Canopée — an innovative timber residential complex in Toulouse
Wood’Art – La Canopée is a landmark mixed-use project developed in the emerging La Cartoucherie district of Toulouse. The complex is one of the most ambitious examples of sustainable construction in France and was conceived to respond to new living patterns, reduce energy consumption and preserve nature and biodiversity.
Designed by the architectural consortium Dietrich Untertrifaller Architects in collaboration with Maître Cube and Seuil Architecture, the project was completed in November 2021. The total built area is 13,326 m².
Concept and architecture
The defining feature of the project is that 76% of the structure is made of wood, significantly reducing its carbon footprint and redefining conventional urban construction practices. The architecture combines contemporary design, functionality and high environmental standards, creating a resilient and comfortable urban environment.
Wood’Art – La Canopée won a national competition organised by ADIVbois, aimed at promoting timber-based projects with the lowest possible environmental impact.

Quartier de Gally is a large-scale urban development project led by Icade Promotion, located at the foot of the Park of the Palace of Versailles, within the framework of an urban development concession. The project creates a new eco-district that combines residential living, nature, architectural quality, and public infrastructure.
Overall Project Concept
The project is being developed on the site of the former Caserne Pion and covers approximately 48,800 m² of total floor area on a 20-hectare site. The district is designed as a “new-generation garden city” — a fertile and livable environment where residents live in close connection with nature.
The project philosophy is based on the triad Nature – Art – Education, developed by Deyrolle, which is intended to become a dedicated environmental and cultural label.

Architecture and concept
Designed by the architectural firm KAAN Architecten, JUMP reflects a new philosophy of workspaces where design, natural light, flexibility and services come together to create a complete working ecosystem. The project offers 14,015 m² of office and service spaces, complemented by nearly 1,000 m² of landscaped outdoor areas.
The building is conceived to maximize natural light, encourage fluid movement between indoor and outdoor spaces, and foster interaction among occupants.

PULSE is an innovative next-generation business complex located on Place du Front Populaire in Saint-Denis (93), at the heart of the redeveloped Grand Paris district.
