The Silva

The Silva, located at 1630 Columbia Road, is a 10-story ground-up residential development designed by the internationally renowned architecture firm Grimshaw. The project includes approximately 172 apartment units and two levels of below-grade parking.

The new building will feature premium, European-inspired finishes in all residences. Amenities will include a rooftop swimming pool, grilling stations, fire pits, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a lush, private courtyard designed to create a peaceful retreat within the city.

The development is being constructed to meet LEED v4 environmental standards. Its location offers excellent accessibility, with walking distance to the Columbia Heights Metro station and direct express bus routes along 16th Street leading to the downtown core.
